warehouse organization PWO (Public Warehouse Organization) here are some
of it's functions.
1. Storage of rice and agricultural
products as buffer stock.
In the beginning of the harvesting season, the excessive supply will led
to the low prices in rice and other agricultural products. PWO will
intervene the market by purchasing and storage of rice and agricultural
products for distribution to the public at the reasonable price in order
to help particulary the low income consumers.
2. Warehouse equipments and storage facilities services.
PWO provides warehouse space for temporary storage as well as warehouse
equipments for handing quality of products such as grading, mixing,
packing and etc. for export or delivery to domestic buyers.
3. Warehouse for rent.
PWO provides standard warehouses for the government and private sector
to rent for storage of commodities. The warehouse rental will be charged
at a reasonable rate depending to economic situation, commodities types
and warehouse location.
4. Warehouse for goods storage on pledging term and goods deposit.
PWO provides standard warehouses in the convenient locations for road
and river transportation to store the commodities of government and
private sector on a pledging term and goods deposit. There are two
